Caroline Coyne

My Story.

Hello! My name is Caroline Coyne and I am a full-time professional free-lance make-up artist. I am based out of Galway city, serving all of the West of Ireland.

Having graduated as a beauty therapist in 2000, I gained invaluable experience working throughout Galway over a number of years. It was during this period, that I discovered I had a genuine passion and flair for make up. Deciding that the time was right to pursue this passion further, I looked to the renowned and prestigious Jemma Kidd School of Make-Up in London, where I enrolled in 2005, following a lengthy selection process. What followed was an intensive training course in free-lance make-up artistry, which enhanced and honed my skill set.

about

My Experience

While living in London, I worked with a broad mix of clients as part of magazines and portfolio shoots, profiles, photographs and wedding make-up.

Following an extended period in London post graduation, I decided to move back to Ireland to establish my own business ‘Caroline Coyne Make Up’ to address what I could see was a clear gap in quality service offering. Over the last ten years, I have further developed my skillset and broadened my industry experience working extensively with fashion photography, editorial, beauty, television, catwalk and wedding make up. In addition, I am also a fully qualified skin technician following extensive training with Dermalogica

I have established a broad client base who I couldn’t be happier to work with day-to-day and who have helped me to become a successful free-lance make-up artist. I feel blessed that I am doing a job that I truly love and that I get to work with such fantastic clients, whom I also count as great friends.

My chosen profession requires a creative artistic flow, helping to create a desired look for a wedding, fashion shoot, special occasion or quite simply, a night on the town. My work has been profiled in well-known publications such as VIP, RSVP, The Gloss, U magazine, the and International Journey as well as local publications Galway Now and the City Tribune.
